Why didn’t my order go through?

There are a few common reasons why an order may not go through right away:

• Your limit price wasn’t met.
  
  The market price may not have reached the price you set.
  
  
• Not enough sellers or buyers.
  
  There may not be enough matching orders in the market at that time.
  
  
• Market is closed.
  
  Orders placed outside PSE trading hours are queued and will only be processed once the market opens.
  
  
• Your order expired.
  
  Day orders automatically expire if they are not matched by the end of the trading day.

This is normal and doesn’t mean something went wrong with your account.
